NIGHTLIFE IN PARIS
As you would expect, Paris has something for everyone. If you like excitement, check out the MOULIN ROUGE, located in Montmartre, and made even more popular by the movie of the same name. If you have seen the movie, though, be aware that it was filmed entirely on a movie set.
At the other end of the spectrum, the PARIS OPERA is world-renowned. Shown on the left is the Opéra Garnier, older than the Opéra de la Bastille, which is on the right:

Day or night, Les Deux Magots was a favourite spot of such celebrities as Ernest Hemingway. I had a beautiful lunch here, and I recommend Citron Pressé Chaud (hot squeezed lemon juice with sugar and hot water on the side).
Les
Deux Magots is located on the Place St Germain des Pres at the corner of Boulevard Saint Germain.

One of Paris' best-known restaurants is Maxim's, on Rue Royale. It has been the site of private parties by Christina Onassis and the Duke and Duchess of Windsor.
